An annual event in support of the Police – entitled America’s Night out against Crime”
We started out at a parking lot on Lowell and the 210 in Tujunga, CA and joined with people and groups in the community to honor the police for their good work.
Noelle North read a special poem written by Aja Anderson to the police to thank them for their good work.
We then handed them The Way to Happiness books with our logo and Thank You poems inserted. We handed a box of books and poems to take to those officers who weren’t there. One officer said this is appreciated more than we know, and said they will definitely be given out.
The Police then led the caravan out of the lot and throughout the Foothills –
The final stop was in a parking lot in Sylmar – where we met up with other police, including Jorge Rodriguez, Deputy Chief Commanding Officer – Barbara presented him with a The Way to Happiness book and the Thank You poem. He said he is familiar with the book and shared his feedback on the importance of it getting out to our communities.
